Soup Kitchen for Children

Las Piñas City -- Forty five children kickstarted the afternoon by praying the Glorious Mysteries. We know the purity of kids and how Jesus says the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to them. Saint Pio of Pietrelcina once said, prophetically, “When a million children pray the Rosary, the world will change.” The community of Holy Cross Mission Chapel in Talon 5, Las Piñas was overwhelmed with joy earlier hearing 45 children pray the Most Holy Rosary. May the Blessed Mother always help them to love the Rosary and help them to say it nicely every time.

We are grateful for every donation whether large or small and offer our sincere thanks especially to the Council of Leaders, Mr. Rommel and Dr. Cecilia de los Reyes and Team Qualibet for the food sponsorship. The meals consist of rice porridge served hot, pancit bihon guisado, Filipino style spaghetti and juice drinks. Please know that your contribution makes a difference and provides extra comfort and nourishment to underprivileged children. As a personal advocacy, I organize values education class and soup kitchen ministry for children at the Holy Cross Mission Community in Talon 5, Las Piñas. Service is done entirely by volunteers who will freely offer their free time in order to help. The local food drive is sustained through cash and food donations. Be an advocate.
