Generous Living, Generous Giving
“For it is in giving that we receive.” ―St. Francis of Assisi
Tagaytay City, Cavite -- We started our mission by gathering for the Holy Eucharist as one body of Christ. In his homily, Father Jo taught that Holiness neither comes as whole package delivery nor it happens overnight. Rather, we become holy in the small choices we make moment by moment. Hence we have to be conscious of the choices we make at a time in the ordinary moments of our life. Then, we interacted with the children of Mother Teresa Spinelli's Treasures and gifted them milk formula, disposable diapers, rice provision and food packs. There is nothing more beautiful than being a small part of God's story of restoration. To all our sponsors and volunteers, we are thankful beyond measure for the love and care you have shown to the orphaned and vulnerable children. Your generosity is restoring hope right now as you are helping to provide essentials they need to thrive. Together, we'll continue to restore hope in 2021!

Tagaytay City — The installation of floor tiles in the multi-purpose Hall at KALINGAP Home for the Elderly is now complete. Your gift creates a supportive space for the lolas and volunteers: The non-slip matt finish ceramic tile makes it easier and safer for elderly people to move around using a cane, walker, or wheelchair. The material is highly resistant to stains, cleaning agents, disinfectants and urine so it is easy to clean and maintain. Finally, the wood-effect surface creates a warm and familiar atmosphere so the lolas have the feeling they are in their own home. We encourage you to visit to meet the social worker, volunteers and of course, the elderly we serve. We love to show off our comfy space, and the lolas enjoy meeting visitors. You are now part of their lives too. From the bottom of our hearts we thank each and every one of you, both known and anonymous. We can never say it enough: thank you for your support. Our work would not be possible without generous hearts like you. May God bless you and all those you hold dear far more abundantly than all you can ever ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20) |
