Generous Living, Generous Giving
“For it is in giving that we receive.” ―St. Francis of Assisi
Just before lunch on Easter Sunday, we had a chance to catch up with the kids of Parthenos in Quezon City. We reflected on how Jesus rising from the dead sets Him apart from all other religious founders—He’s alive, and because of that, we live in hope that we, too, will rise one day. The kids received packed meals and snacks, and the highlight? Their brand-new choir uniforms, which they'll wear proudly when singing at Mass! A big thank you to our generous sponsors for making this possible. We’ll share photos of them in their lovely new uniforms once everyone’s back from their vacation in the provinces. Thank you for your refreshing generosity—we remembered you as we prayed the Glorious Mysteries. Happy Easter!

On Easter Sunday, the mission community of the Missionaries of the Holy Face of Jesus (Mshikhe d-Parṣufa Qaddisha d-Ishoʿ) gratefully received a brass Tabernacle box, a generous gift from physician benefactors who made the donation in memory of Fr. Joseph Raymund Biliran—a dear friend in life, whose spiritual presence continues to inspire us now that he has returned to his eternal home.
Dearest Padresito, we humbly ask you to intercede for us from the balconies of heaven. To our esteemed physician donors, your Easter offering will bear fruit in deepening devotion to the Holy Eucharist, particularly among the children of the mission community in Naic, Cavite. With this gift, they are now able to visit the Lord Jesus daily in the Blessed Sacrament enthroned at the altar. "If you help the poor, you are lending to the Lord—and he will repay you (Proverbs 19:17)." The mission community offers its sincere love and prayers for your continued success and well-being. Wishing you a blessed and joyful Easter. At 29 years old, Teacher Regina has already dedicated nearly a decade to nurturing the minds of pre-schoolers. Now teaching in a public school, she manages a class of 40 to 50 pupils, many of whom rely heavily on visual aids to grasp daily lessons. On the morning of Holy Wednesday, we had the opportunity to meet Teacher Regina and hand over a set of essential teaching tools: a color printer and scanner, a laminating machine, reams of laminating film, and stacks of bond paper. These resources will allow her to produce engaging instructional materials and visual aids for School Year 2025–2026.
Her young students—future doctors, nurses, teachers, astronauts, firefighters, and priests—are only beginning their journey. But thanks to your generous support, the first notes of their dreams are already rising in a hopeful #Crescendo toward a brighter future. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made these much-needed supplies possible. May God bless you for the goodness that echoes in your hearts. |
