Las Piñas City -- Soup kitchen and values education class for underprivileged children in Talon 5, Las Pinas City.

Kuya Jeff and the children had a brief discussion on how helping in the household chores like tidying their bed linens each morning, washing dishes and cutlery after meals or keeping the house clean can make them good and acceptable in the sight of God who sees all our actions.

Everyone happily run on a full tank after feasting on all they could Pancit Bihon Guisado and Ginataang Bilo-Bilo. After the meal, the kids received from Ate Bessie and Jill goodie bags full of cookie sandwiches, cupcakes, chips, and biscuits which are perfect for a week's school snack.

Special thanks to our incredible sponsors for all their contributions: Stylist extraordinaire from Kawit, bid support professional from Imus, Frat woman official from Naga, Marian devotee from Las Pinas, government employee from Baliuag and Divine Mercy devotee from Las Pinas. May God bless you abundantly above all that you asked of Him!

Las Piñas City -- Graduating Advertising and Public Relations college students from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines made some extra special time to work with underprivileged children in a mission community in Talon 5, Las Pinas City. Bea, Collen, Ela, Gigi, Tom and Yya gathered with the children for a 3-hour program that their group specifically designed and implemented for them.

They engaged the kids in song, instrument and dance performances and fun-filled group games. One of the highlights of the day was the skit they presented, "The Ant and the Butterfly", a fable about working hard to prepare today for the needs that one will have tomorrow.

The children feasted on their favorite sweet spaghetti with freshly baked bread. Finally, everyone received a party loot bag containing sweet treats and school supplies. Their eyes lit up as soon as they got their individual bags!

We would like to thank our sponsors that have continually supported our soup kitchen - generous friends from FEAST-Imus, kind-hearted BrandWarrior friends from Paranaque City and Naga City, selfless government employee from Baliuag and charitable young professional from Imus. We would not be able to do it without your help. God is your reward!

Bea, Collen, Ela, Gigi, Tom and Yya - Thank you for organizing it all for the children. They surely had fun. Thank you for "being Jesuses" to them today! I pray that you learned something valuable from this experience.
