Generous Living, Generous Giving
“For it is in giving that we receive.” ―St. Francis of Assisi
Isolation is a big issue for the elderly. Yesterday, we dined, chitchatted, sung and danced with the lolas in Kalingap Home for the Elderly to let them know they’re not forgotten while we are all navigating this pandemic. Biggest hugs and prayers for making a meaningful contribution of 40 bags of cement to Kalingap Home for the Elderly. Because of your generosity, they can do things they couldn’t otherwise afford with their very tight, nonprofit budget. Now, they will not only be able to finish exposed concrete walls before painting but also prevent wall damage due to water penetrations. Sincerely, thank you for all of your incredible help. A deep bow to all of you for allowing us at Kairos Momentum the privilege of serving this community. Thank you also to all those buying homemade products of cooking oil, atsara (papaya relish), black and white pepper, potholders, doormats, flowers and plants to help meet the daily needs of the lolas. May the Heavenly Father who sees your good deeds in secret reward you openly and abundantly! (Matthew 6:4)
