This morning felt like stepping into a place where heaven quietly touches earth. Our mission at the Missionaries of Charity Home for the Elderly in Tayuman was filled with laughter, quiet tears, and moments that softened all our hearts. As we sang familiar melodies, the lolos and lolas’ eyes lit up in ways words can’t describe. We swayed, clapped, and laughed together like one big family. One of the most touching moments was when a lolo shyly asked, “Pwede bang Ikaw?” We sang it without hesitation, offering it like a gift from the heart. Many were wiping tears—his, ours, everyone’s.

We visited the orphaned and vulnerable girls at the Children’s Home of Mary of the Eucharist in Telebastagan, San Fernando City, Pampanga, run by the Franciscan Sisters of Mary of the Eucharist. The morning was full of music, laughter, and good food as the kids enjoyed an early Christmas celebration. They were so thankful for the donations and essentials shared by the sponsors and volunteers.
