 On Friday the 13th, we spent a meaningful afternoon with the lolos and lolas at the House of Somang (Hope) in Levitown, Better Living, Parañaque City. Under the loving care of the Kkottongnae Sisters of Jesus, this visit brought joy and companionship to the elderly, breaking the monotony of their daily lives. These moments of connection help combat loneliness and brighten their spirits. The seniors were delighted to receive gifts of rice, adult diapers, biscuits, toiletries, and food packs. Sharing a meal, prayers, songs, and dances with them just days before Christmas made the day even more special.
There’s no greater joy than giving, and no better gift for the elderly than hope. To our energetic volunteers and selfless sponsors, your efforts have been a true blessing to the elderly. Thank you for your time and thoughtful contributions. May the Lord multiply your kindness and generosity a thousand-fold in 2025! Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas as we wrap up 2024 missions on a high note!

 Christmas is often said to be a time for children, and this spirit guided our mission today in Nueva Vizcaya and Isabela. Covering a journey of about 450 kilometers, we delivered desktop computers and a printer to support not only the parish staff in their administrative tasks but also the children of farmers in their education. These tools will enable students to attend online classes, prepare projects, and print coursework, while helping parish staff improve efficiency in managing reports and files.
This generous donation, made in loving memory of Manuel + and as an expression of gratitude by Crescendo Group of Companies for the special blessings received in 2024, has brought joy and hope to the two Franciscan parishes in the dioceses of Bayombong and Ilagan. Though the long journey left us physically exhausted, our hearts are filled with joy as we return home, knowing we’ve extended God’s love to those in need. "God is just; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them." (Hebrews 6:10) |
