BAHA NG PAGMAMAHAL

​Today, M.J.J.M.I. (www.jeffjacinto.com) visited the Sto. Niño Mission Station in Potrero, Malabon (flood-infested) to distribute school supplies and serve snacks to 100 children from Grades 1–6. Most come from families of boatmen, fisherfolk, construction workers, tricycle drivers, and other laborers who continue to work hard despite the challenges brought by rising fuel prices. While their parents strive to provide food and shelter, many have struggled to purchase school supplies for the opening of classes this Monday.

​Gathered by the Missionaries of the Child Jesus (MCJ), the children received supplies made possible through the generosity of sponsors and volunteers. Young lady Veronica also chose to celebrate her birthday with the children by treating them to Jollibee Kiddie Meals, bringing smiles and joy to their day.

As we celebrate Corpus Christi Sunday, we are reminded that we are one Body in Christ. Through every notebook shared, every meal given, and every act of kindness, Christ's love became present among these children. Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, former students with their families and coworkers, and the MCJ Sisters for being Christ's hands and heart in this mission.
