SENSING THE “ABLE” AND NOT THE “LABEL”

​Today, we were deeply blessed during our very first visit to the Kanlong Foundation for differently abled children in Silang, Cavite. We shared a joyful day of prayer, songs, dancing, games, storytelling, laughter, and good food with the students and teachers who welcomed us warmly.

By God’s grace, we were able to donate 43 much-needed monoblock chairs for the new school year. As an eight-year-old community serving children in the autism spectrum and other differently abled learners, Kanlong Foundation still needs support in equipment and learning resources to better care for the children.

Our time with the children reminded us that sometimes the things that make people different are also the very things that make them strong, beautiful, and inspiring. Their joy, sincerity, resilience, and love touched our hearts deeply.

To all our sponsors and volunteers, thank you for becoming instruments of hope and inclusivity. Your generosity is creating a real difference in the lives of these children and their teachers. Special thanks to Marielle, our project manager, for celebrating her birthday with the community.
