TAIL-WAGGING THANKS

It was a moderately chilly day in Silang when we visited the 82 dogs and around 30 cats at Care for Paws Shelter and Sanctuary. Luz, their dedicated coordinator, warmly welcomed us and shared exciting updates about the shelter’s ongoing programs for these lovable furballs. I was especially happy to see Cookie the poodle again—she bravely survived distemper and is now five years old, proudly serving as CPSS’s mascot!

A huge thank you to the Ramirez family for driving us to and from the facility, and to our generous sponsors who helped us put together much-needed dog and cat food provisions. Your kindness keeps these furry friends happy, nourished, and well cared for!

If you’re celebrating a family milestone and want to spread some love or simply  just gain ligtas points, consider paying these adorable creatures a visit. The shelter is currently in need of four orbit fans to keep the animals cool this summer, dextrose powder for hydration, and four spinning mops to keep their kennels clean.
