Generous Living, Generous Giving
“For it is in giving that we receive.” ―St. Francis of Assisi
Las Piñas City -- On this Laetare Sunday, the children were catechized as usual, and the praying of the Most Holy Rosary followed. Msgr. Jo presided the Divine Liturgy for the community. Drawing inspiration from the man born blind that Jesus healed on the Sabbath, he said that there is absolutely no limit to the goodness we can do despite the legislation, political affiliation, or circumstances that restrain us. We must always find opportunities to offer random acts of kindness in everyday life. The community welcomed back our kind and loved benefactress Ate Tessie Astrero after her well deserved vacation in Florida, USA. With her return, we now have an extra hand to teach values to the children. Welcome back to us, Ate Tess. Of course, we couldn't do our Soup Kitchen Ministry without our incredibly selfless sponsors. Genly Ramirez and her children: Toni, Inah and John lovingly cooked and prepared hot nutritious meals for the children. We would also like to thank Blue Yumol for the continued contribution to our soup kitchen ministry. The meals consist of Chicken Arroz Caldo, fresh bread, biscuits and juice drinks. May God bless you with great success with your careers and other dreams. May God continue to bless the work of your good heart and good hands. Till my next update, warm wishes for the work week ahead!
