Soup Kitchen for Children

Las Piñas City -- ​Graduating Advertising and Public Relations college students from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines made some extra special time to work with underprivileged children in a mission community in Talon 5, Las Pinas City. Bea, Collen, Ela, Gigi, Tom and Yya gathered with the children for a 3-hour program that their group specifically designed and implemented for them.

They engaged the kids in song, instrument and dance performances and fun-filled group games. One of the highlights of the day was the skit they presented, "The Ant and the Butterfly", a fable about working hard to prepare today for the needs that one will have tomorrow.

The children feasted on their favorite sweet spaghetti with freshly baked bread. Finally, everyone received a party loot bag containing sweet treats and school supplies. Their eyes lit up as soon as they got their individual bags!
