Eighteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time (A) Isaiah 55:1-3 | Psalm 144(145):8-9, 15-18 | Romans 8:35, 37-39 | Matthew 14:13-21  My dear brothers and sisters, the theme that beautifully unites our readings this week is the boundless generosity of God. Our God gives freely, and He gives in extravagant measure. God invites us to receive His life-giving love. He assures us that nothing can ever separate us from Him. And He teaches us that when we offer even the little that we have to Jesus, He can bless it, multiply it, and use it to meet the needs of many.

Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time (A) Isaiah 55:10-11 | Psalm 65:10, 11, 12-13, 14 | Romans 8:18-23 | Matthew 13:1-9  The readings for the Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time remind us of the power of God's Word, assure us that our present sufferings are insignificant compared to the glory that awaits us, and call us to truly hear, receive, and live out His Word so that it may transform our hearts and our lives.

Finally, our Lord Jesus tells us that true peace is found by trusting in Him and accepting His gentle yoke.
