Tagaytay City, Cavite — Generous donations from friends enabled us to bring rice provision, toys, clothes, books, reams of paper and other school supplies to TAHANANG VEDRUNA in Tagaytay City earlier. The ashes from the recent Taal volcano erruption turned into fertile soils. The kids were vegetable gardening when we arrived. As safety precaution against the coronavirus disease, we just watched the little organic farmers from a distance. Before we left, the kids gave us some of their fresh produce of yellow cucumber and sunflower seeds to take away.
