Generous Living, Generous Giving
“For it is in giving that we receive.” ―St. Francis of Assisi
On the Twenty-eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time, our Faith Formation gathering commenced with a meditation on the glorious mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary. Mary, the Mother of Jesus, possessed a remarkable storytelling ability. It's quite likely that when Jesus was a young child, He listened to Mary's stories with great delight. The children took the lead in reciting the Holy Rosary while the Theotokos Singers guided us through singing Marian hymns. Following the catechesis and prayers, the children were treated to a warm and nutritious meal. We are truly grateful for the presence and assistance of the Theotokos Singers and the other volunteers who helped serve food and drinks. A big thank you goes out to our generous donors, many of whom prefer to remain anonymous, for providing the children with spaghetti, pancit palabok, bread, and juice drinks. Your support played a vital role in making today's catechesis, Rosary meditation, and feeding program possible. Please know that your generosity has a profound impact on the lives of these children. May the good Lord, who recognizes your secret acts of kindness, reward you openly and abundantly. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, pray for us! "From the lips of children and infants you have established praise!" - Psalm 8:2A
